I was looking through my mothers faded recipe cards. I scanned one in
to make pickled onions. It was so faded, I could only see it by scanning then
changing the color on it.

I looked at queen of the castle and found great little ideas for decorating
the jar lids for gifts. I remember my mother putting ribbons and
painting the lids of her jars. The blogs have added a lot of great ideas
for me to cook and can. My husband is loving it.
